AniList Helper

Your AniList, remembered.

A small browser extension for the things AniList forgets every time you reload: list filters, bookmarks, sorting and voice actor language.

Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons listings are on their way.

An AniList anime list filtered by format and genres, with the filters in the URL

What it does

Every feature has its own switch in the extension popup.

Persistent list filters

Search, format, status, genres, country, year and sort on anime and manga lists survive a reload. A Reset button clears them.

Shareable filtered lists

Filters live in the URL, like ?format=TV&genres=Action,Comedy. Anyone with the extension opens the list exactly as you see it.

Bookmarks & quick links

One click next to the heart saves an anime, manga, character, staff or studio. Find them under Bookmarks in the top bar, or with Alt+B.

Remembered preferences

Stats sorting, voice actor language, and role sorting on staff and character pages stay the way you left them.

Private by design

FAQ

Do the people I send a filtered link to need the extension?

Yes, to see the filters. Without it, AniList simply ignores the extra URL parameters and shows the list unfiltered.

Where are my bookmarks stored?

In your browser's extension storage, on this device. They are never uploaded anywhere.

The bookmark buttons get in my way.

Open the extension popup: under Bookmarks & quick links you can hide the top bar menu, the button next to the heart or the floating button on small screens, or turn the whole feature off.

Something broke after an AniList update.

The extension hooks into AniList's page, so a redesign can break it. Please open an issue.
