Summary

AniList Helper does not collect, sell, share or transmit any personal data. It has no servers, no analytics and no tracking. Everything it saves stays in your browser.

What the extension stores, and where

List filters (search, format, status, genres, country, year, sort) of the AniList lists you open, in anilist.co's local storage under keys starting with anilist-helper:. They are also written to the page URL so you can share them.
Page preferences (stats sorting, voice actor language, role sorting), in anilist.co's local storage under keys starting with anilist-helper:.
Bookmarks (page address, title, type and cover image address of the pages you bookmark), in the extension's local storage on your device.
Settings (which features are turned on), in the extension's sync storage, which your browser may sync between your own devices if you enabled browser sync.

Network access

The extension makes no network requests of its own. It never calls AniList's API and never changes anything on your AniList account. It only runs on anilist.co pages, where it reads and adjusts the page you are viewing.

Permissions

storage: to save your settings and bookmarks.
Access to https://anilist.co/*: to add the features to AniList's pages.

Removing your data

Uninstalling the extension deletes its storage (bookmarks and settings). Filters and preferences saved in anilist.co's local storage are removed when you clear that site's data in your browser; the Reset button of a list clears its filters.
