Summary

Embed Link Copier does not collect, sell, share or transmit any personal data. It has no servers, no analytics and no tracking. Everything it saves stays in your browser.

What the extension stores, and where

Your link services (label, domain, on/off and order), in the browser's sync storage, which your browser may sync between your own devices if you enabled browser sync.
Your last 20 conversions (original link, converted link, service, site and time) and conversion counters, in the extension's local storage on your device, so the popup can show them.

Network access

The extension makes no network requests of its own. It runs on x.com, twitter.com, instagram.com and tiktok.com pages, where it adds copy buttons and reads the address of the post you click. The converted link is written to your clipboard only when you click a button. The embed services the links point to (vxTwitter, FxEmbed, fxTikTok…) are only contacted by the apps you paste the link into, under their own privacy policies.

Permissions

activeTab: to read the address of the current tab when you use the popup.
clipboardWrite: to copy the converted link.
storage: to save your services, history and counters.
Access to X, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok: to add the copy buttons to their pages.

Removing your data

Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored.
